Masque Unit Junior Theatre of Marin celebrates its 46th anniversary of producing quality live musical theater for children, with a fun musical adaptation of The Wind in the Willows based on The Mad Adventure of Mr. Toad. The story of shared friendship among Mole, Water Rat, Badger and Toad is a timeless tale that takes place along a peaceful riverbank, however not all is peaceful! Mr. Toad is somewhat spoiled and gets himself into a lot of mischief. This treasured story is brought to life on stage with wonderful music and lessons of true friendship, kindness, patience and loyalty. The characters are familiar... the silly, impulsive Mr. Toad, the practical Water Rat, the emotional Mole and the stodgy Badger. Join Masque Unit Junior Theatre for this lively musical version of Kenneth Grahame's classic children's story.

Beauty and the Beast at Santa Rosa's 6th Street PlayhouseDisney's musical tale comes to life when Santa Rosa's 6th Street Playhouse presents Beauty and the Beast this summer. This tale for the whole family features award-winning songs from the Disney film and Broadway production. Directed by Holly Vinson. Performances will take place from August 10 through September 9, 2007, at 8 pm on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and 2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Peter Pan at the Marin Center

Peter Pan at the Marin CenterThe beloved and timeless tale of Peter Pan comes to life as Sharon Boucher brings 100 of Marin’s most talented children together to perform this magical tale. Watch Peter Pan fly with Wendy, John and Michael to Neverland as he encounters Captain Hook and the pesky pirate crew. The performances will be from Thursday, July 26 to Sunday, July 29, 2007 at the Showcase Theater at the Marin Center in San Rafael, so bring the entire family. The performance days and times are as follows:
