Greenwood School
Greenwood School is pleased to announce the opening of its Preschool in Fall 2010!
Greenwood School offers a Waldorf-inspired preschool program for children ages 3-5 where children are provided with a secure, caring, and structured home-like environment to begin their school years. Our newly established preschool program will offer an early childhood experience where teachers create a safe and meaningful classroom community in which children hear stories, see puppet shows, sing, bake bread, make soup, learn to make beautiful and useful things, explore nature, build houses and structures out of natural materials and celebrate seasonal festivals. 2, 3 and 5 day programs are available as well as afternoon care from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm. ITALIAmore Preschool
ITALIAmore offers a preschool learning program for children. The program will be held throughout the year, in both San Rafael and Mill Valley.
The long-term goal of ITALIAmore Preschool (2–4 years old) is to bring the children to fluent bilingualism. The program uses the Reggio Emilia approach and is exceptional in its emphasis on language and creative activities. Organic and sugar-free home made snacks and lunches are served. The student-teacher ratio is capped at 4:1 so children can receive superior attention and be followed closely.
