This month, several independent schools and preschools in Marin are holding open houses for parents of prospective students. If you're considering a local a preschool or elementary school for your child, you'll definitely want to. The following schools and preschools are holding open houses this January. Most require RSVPs in advance.
- San Domenico School
Saturday, January 7, 10 am
The best way to get to know San Domenico is to come for a visit! Their K–8 open house takes place Saturday, January 7. RSVP online. More information
- Greenwood School
Wednesday, January 11, 6:30–8:30 pm
Greenwood School offers a sophisticated academic program within a culture that honors creativity, integrity, and striving. Come tour the campus, visit classrooms, and ask questions of our Head of School, faculty, parents, eighth-grade students and alumni. Children grades 5 and above welcome. - Good Shepherd Lutheran School
Thursday, January 12, 6–8:30 pm
Find out more about Good Shepherd Lutheran School at their Kindergarden–5th grade open house is from 6–7 pm at 1180 Lynwood Drive, Novato. The 6–8 grade open house takes place from 7:30–8:30 pm at 720 Wilson Avenue, Novato. For more info, call 415-897-2510.

Marin Waldorf is offering a new, more fluid format this year at the Open House to allow flexibility for visiting parents and their families. Arrive anytime between 10 am and 1 pm.
